I sailed on the Carnival Splendor the first week of May for a 7 day Western Caribbean trip. This is my fifth Carnival cruise, but my first on the Splendor. It was better than I expected. The decor was definitely pink, but it did not add or take away anything from the cruise. The staff on the cruise went out of their way to make a a fun time to be had by all. I cannot imagine anyone not enjoying themselves on this ship.

Embarcation was delayed slightly by a wedding party, but it only added to the excitement before boarding.

My cabin was interior on Main Deck (#2). Being a solo cruiser, it had more than enough closet space and was quite roomy. It was a quiet room, very near to the aft stairway.

Roomy, very clean, everything worked fine. A/C was great. Quiet cabin very near the aft stairway. I let Carnival choose my cabin, and I was pleased with the outcome!
