After being spoiled by the NCL Getaway with so much to do, we found ourselves a little bored in the evenings and on sea days on the Splendor. However, we are not drinkers or gamblers and could care less about trivia, bingo, watches, jewelry, and art. There goes at least 75% of the onboard activities for us. The comedians we saw were good. Unfortunately, We did not make it to any of the singing/dancing shows and cannot speak to those. We spent several nights on the lido deck watching movies which was nice. The cabin stewards and wait staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The dining room and buffet food was acceptable. We loved the pizza. We did not take our 4 kids (ages 10-14) on this cruise, but felt like they would've been really bored with the kids' activities. They loved the NCL Getaway also. We will definitely cruise Carnival again but will probably try to stick to the mega ships (dream and vista classes) that offer more activities and shows unless we can't find the itinerary we want.
