Twelfth cruise, first time on Princess and first time to Alaska. No complaints at all, we all had a great time. Switched from anytime to early dining after reading reviews here, thank you. Waited a few days before making reservations at the Crown Grill so we "settled" for Sabbattinis and ended up getting extremely good steaks and a rack of veal which was three inches thick.

Service was great, everybody very polite and outgoing. Ship was extremely clean, we heard from the crew there was a noro outbreak but didn't hear anything about it from fellow passengers. Food was high quality and even the buffet was surprisingly good.

I read that Alaskan cruises were pretty casual, but I saw very few fellow passengers wearing jeans on the ship and most dressed up nicely for dinner even on smart casual nights. Read more
