I have just returned from a week cruise on the Thomson Spirit to the Eastern Med. We chose this cruise for the ports of call, and boy was it the right decision, we saw some fantastic sites, in the various ports of call, coupled with the on board activities/service being an added bonus. I must say the crew, in all departments were polite extremely friendly and welcoming, nothing was to much trouble. The choice and standard of food was very good. The entertainment was exactly that Entertaining, from the show group to the individual groups/singers at venues around the ship. As for the ship itself it was full of character, although very dated. I was pleased to hear that Thomson have secured a ship from Royal Carribean, this is a far more modern ship which is badly needed in the Thomson fleet.

If Thomson continue with thier current policies and quality and with a more modern fleet then I am certain they will go from strength to strength.

Cabin Review

Cabin inside

Very basic, some noise from rattles etc. Toilet did not work on two occasions, but was swiftly sorted. As the cheaper option cabin, I accepted the situation.
