My husband and I were first time cruisers and after taking this cruise are also last time cruisers. It started out with total chaos trying to board the ship....no one knew what they doing and we got a different answer from every employee we asked.
Once on the ship, we went to our balcony room (Deck 11). What an extreme disappointment! The room was super outdated, the faux leather couch was faded, worn, and stained as was the small table in the room. The counter areas all had a white powdery dust-like substance covering them. The bathroom sink had rusty overflow holes and a broken, rusty towel bar. The sheets and towels were grayish, had thin spots, and even stains. One towel had a bright pink make-up stain on it! The rooms have no refrigerators, no ice buckets, and small safes. (Don't expect to fit any larger electronics in the safe ie. laptops).
The room looks nothing like the pictures on Carnival's website for balcony rooms (deck11) on the Victory. No flat screen TV's, it's a small outdated TV with a poor picture.
Outdated, faded, worn, dusty, rusty, BIG DISAPPOINTMENT for our paid upgrades.
