My family just returned from 4 days on the Disney Dream, cruise ended 5/18/15. Disney did some things really well and others not so great. Frankly with a reputation like they have, I expected more of a "Whatever it takes" attitude. When my family needed that type of service (twice) it was nowhere to be found. I will tell you what I thought was excellent and then provide examples of areas where Disney needs to improve. Areas they nail:

1. Friendly and Responsive Staff: With 1500 staff on the boat, they are everywhere and knowledgeable. I saw everyone from maintenance to bathroom cleaners help folks with routing and questions. Don't confuse responsiveness with problem solving though. Overall the only time I saw a cast member go to a negative place was during the lifeboat drill and it was warranted given the rude guest.

2. Clean Ship: The ship was unbelievably clean and this made for a very enjoyable experience for a neat freak like me. I'm not sure when they found time to do it, but I would see a window with finger prints from kids, walk by it an hour later, and it was squeaky clean again.
