This was a catamaran and snorkeling trip for our group only.  This was by far our very best day.  The captain, ship, and service were perfect.  Sailed to Norman Island, where he provided snorkel gear and fins for our entire party.  We had lunch on the restaurant on the island, and it was the best food we had on the entire trip.

sail across Drakes Channel to the “Treasure Caves at Norman Island" and enjoy easy snorkeling in the calm and crystal clear waters that surround the island. Since the 1750’s, visitors to the island have discovered three separate treasure troves with each yielding substantially different amounts of riches. These bounties undoubtedly inspired Robert Louis Stevenson to immortalize Norman Island as his setting for the epic novel “Treasure Island”.

Bus tour around the island to various sightseeing locations, stop at the market downtown, then to Coco beach for the rest of the day,  Lunch was brought to us on the beach.

Our group went out on our own to the straw market and shipping street.  Some of our group walked to the beach.   We all had a nice day, and had a chance to guy souveniers.

Despite the “free-style” dining on the ship, we expected that with a large, fixed party, dining same time and place every night, we would have the same staff.Again no consistency from one serving to the next   Same night, same table.
