This was our first river cruise and it was way beyond our expectations!
Our room had plenty of storage, french balcony and was kept spotless by the housekeeping staff. The best part of this cruise was the food. My husband is a Celiac and the cooks went out of their way to make gluten-free dinners for him. He had a different kind of bread each day, and they could turn any item on the menu to gluten-free without loosing the sauce or flavor.He even ordered double dinners!
Because of the spring high waters, we could not dock in one port, but Avalon gave us free excursions and bussed us in luxury buses. The staff went out of their way to give us and exceptional vacation!!

Clean and roomy. Loved looking at and taking pictures from our room!
Beds were sooooo comfortable, we didn't want to go home.
