Sail Date: Apr 2015
Cabin: The Haven Aft-Facing Penthouse with Balcony

We sailed on the Norwegian Getaway April 25 to May 2, 2015. This sailing took us from Miami to Tortola, St. Thomas, and Nassau. We were cruising with 2 other couples who were also in Haven cabins.

We have been on the Breakaway (her sister ship) twice. While the Getaway is identical in design, the Miami decor provided a fresh perspective that fits perfectly with her Caribbean itineraries. My husband and I both felt that the ship was less crowded than our sailings on the Breakaway. When getting a tour of the bridge, we found that the ship was nearly full.

We had the great good fortune to stay in cabin 14272, a Haven aft facing penthouse. This was particularly fitting since the cabin number reflected our wedding anniversary date (4/27). The cabin includes an extra large balcony that holds both 2 lounge chairs and a table/chairs for 4. We sailed with 2 other couples and took advantage of the cabin to host a party for our friends and some new people we met on the ship.

Cabin Review

The Haven Aft-Facing Penthouse with Balcony

Cabin H6

The cabin is one of the best on the ship. With a separate living space, bedroom, two bathrooms, and an amazing balcony, we felt like royalty. The balcony had an entrance from the living room and the bedroom and was large enough for 2 lounge chairs plus a table and four chairs. We had breakfast on the balcony one day and it was so beautiful.

Since we were on the 14th floor, we did hear the music from Spice H2O at night. It did not bother us at all.
