This was our 4 cruise and second with NCL. We went out of Barcelona, Spain and stayed the night before in the La Rambus District. The Epic ship is a grand ship. The embarkation and disembarkation process from the beginning was flawless at every port and tendering. It doesn't get any better than the Norwegian's process.

The service we received was very good from our room porter, servers, help desk, bartenders, and everyone working on the ship. The staff works very hard and long hours to please and for the most part have great attitudes.

We ate in many places on the ship from the Taste, Manhattan Room, Garden Café, O'Sheehan's, Cagney's, Shanghai's Chinese and the Cirque Dreams & Dinner, and of course room service. The food was good, but Cagney's was EXCELLENT!

Mid-Ship Inside

Cabin IA

The room was clean and neat. My wife would of like a better lighting arrangement to do her make-up. Bed was comfortable, plenty of storage, flat screen worked well. It was quite and close to the elevators. The shower/bath arrangement didn't bother us.

Port Reviews

Barcelona

We did our own walking tour of the La Rambla, Barcelona which is like a pedestrian mall. Wonderful afternoon and evening! We stayed right in the district and was pleasantly surprised.
