I had a wonderful time inboard the Independence of the Seas. The music was superb, the Ice Show, Strings, amazing, and the crew were friendly. There was 1 shrimp & lobster in the dining room. I loved Chops, worth the extra cost for a night 1 celebration.

I enjoyed the excursions, but the time on shipboard was the best. One thing that really empresses me was RCCL's commitment to Make a Wish. In addition to the weekly "Walk for wishes" that raises funds for Make A Wish, they go overboard for the Make a Wish families they bring on board. There were two families that sailed with us. It meant a lot to them, and to us - we could see the value our donations had in the lives of real families whose lives are complicated by illness.

I like the round showers better than the ones we had on the Legend.
