This was our first time with Royal Caribbean and if it was our first cruise ever, we would be very impressed and happy. However since we had something to compare to, some things turned out to be better and some not so much. What was better than we experienced elsewhere was the embarkation and disembarkation - very efficient, quick, no waits, or lineups. What was disappointing is that there was no room service breakfast on the last morning, which we have used in the past.

Also a step down from our previous experience was the food. Specifically, the dessert and bakery selections. Breakfast pastries appeared shriveled and dried up, and only a handful of selections available. Lots of mousse and jello types of desserts throughout the day. Selection was better at the sit down dinners.

Another disappointment was that the buffet closed at 9pm so there was no quick snack available after 9pm other than in the Promenade cafe, but once again, the selection there was slim to none. We enjoyed the endless and anytime coffees and hot chocolates or teas at the Promenade cafe however.
