The Norwegian Getaway is no doubt a large, beautiful ship. For the most part the staff if very helpful and responsive. The problem areas are as follows:

1) The main Pool. Whoever planned the pool size for a ship holding over 4000 passengers should be fired. On a sunny sea day, there are no chairs available after 8am. There is an H2O adults only area, however there is NO pool, just 2 small hot tubs. FOr a brand new ship, was simply inexcusable.

2) Want to try and book the Vibe Beach Club? Unless you arive in group 1, FORGET IT. The few spots sellout quickly, although I do challenge their system for being honest and fair. When I boarded (group 8), I went immediately to customer service to ourchase the Vibe, only to be told it was sold out already. Funny they also said I can be placed on a standby list if someone doesnt show up. SInce there are no early reservations, how could it be that no one "would show up"? Something smells in this process.
