We finally began cruising last year and decided to go again this year. It only took us to get to our 50's to start enjoying life. Last year was on Allure of the Seas for Eastern Caribbean so we were worried that a smaller ship wouldn't be as enjoyable. So the verdict is in: The difference was noticed but only because of the center of the ship being open air and the outdoor aqua theater on the Allure. Besides that our stateroom was great, Balcony on 9th level, and we enjoyed all the shows and activities greatly!!

The Windjammer disappointed me because the food that was suppose to be hot was never hot despite all the warming trays. I suppose I could have gotten in the line "to order" to get hot eggs, but warm ones in the warming trays would have been nice enough.

The dinners were great. I only had one night that an appetizer didn't speak to me so I went with the reliable shrimp cocktail. Good choice. My favorite dessert is the Chocolate Sensation. Had it twice so I wouldn't be disappointed. The Lamb Shank has got to be my favorite-Just melts in your mouth. VJ and Rose took care of us ten times over!!!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Spacious and great storage. Loved it. Bumped out Balcony was bigger.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

No problems. Not congested when we got on and off ship. Workers got a little testy when trying to get in line to get on ship and it was not indicated very well where the line was suppose to be. They kept telling us to go in a direction that was blocked by a couple of people in wheelchairs. Patience is a virtue.

Labadee

I have no idea of what Haiti looks like because we remained in the seclusion of Labadee. Next time I think we might go beyond the wall to experience it more and get a real sense of where we were.

Cozumel

Need to have a great deal of money to be able to do anything for any length of time. We managed to do something nice enough with the money we had on us. Seemed to be better than the trip our friends took to the Mayan ruins for 6 1/2 hours.
