I took my two children 21and 23 on our first cruise May 2nd with Carnival on the Victory. We had a balcony cabin on the lido deck. The room was great. There was plenty of space. It was clean and the view was amazing. The lido deck location was perfect. A few steps to the pool deck, bar and buffet. It was a low foot traffic hallway so it was quiet as well. The ship was beautiful and laid out well. Everything was a short walk from any elevator or stair.
There were many activities scheduled throughout the day. Too many to do them all. Our favorite was the vroom show. We had purchased the faster to the fun so embarking and de barking was quick and easy. Well worth the price. We enjoyed the variety of food offered and the attentiveness of the crew. They were very friendly and accommodating We went to Jamaica and Dunns River Falls. It was so beautiful. The shops at the end were great too. The Jamaicans were friendly and nice, not pushy at all. We also went to Margaritaville. it was a creat time. They had a pool with a swim up bar and a beach with inflatables in the ocean it was fun for all and a really short walk back to the ship. On Grand Cayman we went to Royal Palms resort. We enjoyed the beach, the pool and Caybrew. We also walked around Georgetown. Everything was overpriced. Jamaica was a much better value.
We did go on the secret forward deck one night and the views of the stars was awe inspiring. In all we can't wait for our next cruise and Jamaica is someplace I would definitely go again. Also a shout out to Ducky our cruise director. He was fabulous
Cabin was great. Bigger than expected. Plenty of room for three people. Plenty of storage space. Great balcony. Great view great location. The lido deck rules
We hailed a cab from port down to royal palms. For a small admission fee we got to use the beach the pool and amenities. It was a great time. The food was expensive. The Caybrew was great. It is a beautiful place. We came back early to do shopping in Georgetown it was overpriced. No values there
