We thoroughly enjoyed our recent repositioning cruise on Summit. Although we were in a sky suite and had most of our meals in Luminae, we also went into the main dining room and the buffet. All of the restaurants had excellent food and service and in no way has the sectioning off of a very small portion of the main dining room impacted on the service, food, or space for diners in the MDR.

The only bar that has been reserved for top suite passengers is Michaels Club. In a Sky suite we were not permitted access to this bar. It didn't matter, there are plenty of other bars on the ship. Once you leave the Sky suite, no difference is made between you and any other passenger on the ship. The service everywhere is excellent. There were no special events for suite passengers. There is a reception most evenings for Elite, Elite Plus and Zenith (we are Elite), at which snacks and complimentary drinks are served. However, this is not for suite passengers unless they have the required status.

There was some rough weather on the Saturday but nothing that we haven't experienced many times before on cruise ships. Normal precautions, such as closing decks, were made and I hardly felt the ship move. I was not aware of anyone being sea sick.

Cabin Review

Sky Suite 2

Smallish when compared with a mini-suite on Princess and the bathroom is dated with a difficult to get in and out of bathtub. Tiny balcony with not enough room for sun loungers. Otherwise perfectly fine
