Really enjoyed my time on board the island escape. Have cruised 3 times before but only with Thomson, on the destiny, majesty and the dream.

The flight from Manchester to Palma went smoothly and we were soon sat on the coach heading to the port. Boarding took longer than I remembered. Made our way to our cabin, an outside on deck 4. It was better than I expected, not as nice as the dream but similar to the destiny and majesty. We had 2 port hole windows which were clear. The cabin had 2 wardrobes, a dressing table with 5 drawers, a chair, a bedside table and another small table. There was an old fashioned tv with crackly reception and a hairdryer beside the dressing table which had good lighting. The bathroom was small, well lit with the usual tiny shower. Small shelves were behind a glass cupboard and we had plenty of room for our bits and pieces. Towels were white and soft. The cabin was kept immaculate throughout our stay and we had a towel decoration and a chocolate one night.

The ship had plenty of bars including 2 outside on deck. I enjoyed the look out bar at the top of the ship whilst my husband liked the champions sports bar and casino. The show lounges were of reasonable size and comfortable. There was a coffee bar serving delicious lattes with views out to sea.
