I had been on Royal Carribean before and loved it, I had raved about my previous cruise (independence of the Sea), and so was looking forward to this much needed break...
On arrival there was no wheelchairs available, despite my informing them months ahead I would need assistance, I had to walk to the lounge, to then wait an hour for a wheelchair. The room was ok (inside room) but not at big as other cruises I've been on including indie... Firstly the kettle boiled over and over as it was faulty and didn't switch off, then the safe didn't work and the door to the fridge was broken.
That evening we went to the Sapphire, I had taken my morphine and needed to eat by a specific time, almost 80 minutes later we still had no starter, to be then told by another guest they had run out of food and he was told to go to the Windjammer, on asking the head waiter this he ran out the room. I asked if I could have my main course, and explained the morphine situation and he said he would get it straight away. 10 minutes later still no food. I gave up.. The food was repetitive and often just warm.
Nice port easy to walk to, shops very good in nearby surrounding areas.....pretty port and nice place to visit. Did not do a excursion with ship as there was nothing of interest on their list
