Great cabin location. Central location. Small window, but adequate.

Interesting place. Typical tourist trap town with good eateries. As expected, a tad pricey. Simply too little time to see enough on this one trip. Due to the ship only committing one tender as a return the line was four abreast and all the way back into town. Simply not acceptable.

Catalina Island (California)

A son met us at the pier with a car and we saw what we wanted, ate like kings and saw parts of this town we had never seen before. It was so nice to have more than one day in port. Wish we could go back to some other ports and do something  like this.

Saw parts of the town we had never seen. Drove around GG Park. Ate at a small boutique burger joint which was so Mom and Pop that it was not to be forgotten. Though I could never find the place again, it lives with us.

Sausalito and environs. Many good photo ops here and a refreshing trip out of the nearly oppressive city streets. Of course the highlight of the Bridge was sailing under it.

Clean interesting and nearly, normal town with sharp businesses. A nice reprise from the City. Nice roads and interesting areas with boats of every description.

Double deck bus. The tour is given VIA a taped lecture recorded an ersatz couple who over do it just  a bit in places. The audio is very legible, but a tad loud if you are inside by a speaker. Yes, there ARE palm trees growing in this town, but not many. The tour tape does NOT call them out. The Park even has a couple, banana trees at the entrance.

Yes, our bus tour was this double deck bus. It is by Gray Line, who usually does a credible job. This taped deal is not what it could be,, but there are so many guides that this takes away from getting a real stinker.

Dock crew said it was due to the stingy nature of the ship not wanting to open more than one line.Possibly one of the great cruise coordinators ever.
