This was my 4 trip on Royal, 1st on Navigator of the Seas. Over all I was disappointed in the trip. Here are a few things that we noticed:

We are early risers and like to go to the upper decks to have coffee and watch the sun rise. But there is no coffee service on the liddo deck until 7 o'clock and then you have to go all the way thru windjammer to get the coffee. So if you want coffee early, You have to go all the way down to deck 5 and then elevator up. By then the coffee has cooled and the moment lost. The other ship had a coffee and water station outside on the liddo deck.

The staff seems tired. Our waiters Melvine and Junmar were very courteous, but that did not make up for the lackluster dinners. Get this.... we were dining with a couple on the windjammer one evening, and the main dining room server came to windjammer looking for them wondering why they did not come to dinner. He said the main dining room wait staff has access to your sail and sign card and know when you pay to eat other places. It is none of their business where you choose to eat.
