This cruise was a good value for the money, but than again my friend won this cruise..so i guess that statement doesn't say a lot. The staff was really nice and made you feel welcomed, even though Carnival Cruise doesn't seem like the best employer to work for. The employees have to work 6 mos straight without a day off. UGH!! I couldn't do it.

The food was substandard. You could tell that Carnival saves a dollar wherever they can. The morning pastries taste like they came straight from Walmart's day old section. The fruit was not ripe such as the melons. The coffee was AWFUL. The food -all in all was not good. I had french onion soup...and it needed SALT!!! Next time i go I will pack snacks.

If you can overlook the food...What makes this a good value is the crew. They are wonderful. They make the cruise. I had a great time with my friend...and will most likely go again.
