Sail Date: Apr 2015
Cabin: Large Ocean View Stateroom

Our holiday began one day prior, stayed at the Holiday Inn, The Rocks, Sydney. I was beside myself when I saw my new 'home' from the rooftop pool area the morning we were to embark.

We just had a wonderful time onboard the Radiance of the Seas.

Embarking was a little cluttered but moved through fairly quickly and was on board within the hour. Spent the first few days exploring the ship and relaxing and making new friends.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin F

Midship cabin, we were well looked after by our cabin attendant. It was so nice to come 'home' to a turned down bed and towel animals. Again, I felt incredibly spoiled.

No issues with anything not working.

Port Reviews

Isle of Pines (New Caledonia)

We jumped into a 6 seater taxi cab for $15 with a local :) He was great! He tried to answer any questions that we had and our group was just a bundle of laughs!

Noumea

We did get off the boat and have an explore around the town.

Nothing really that interesting. If I ever go again, I might try the 2 person buggy self orienteered trip around New Caledonia (I was tempted) Located on the outside of the OPT where you get dropped of by the shuttle bus. Dont buy the onboard cruise excursions, way to expensive!

Sydney (Australia)

Stayed at the Holiday Inn at the Rocks the night before.

Well recommended.

Buffet breakfast just gave us a taste of what was yet to come on the cruise!
