We departed the Quantum yesterday 5/2. We had a great cabin with a balcony it was mid ship on 10. The ship's entertainment is fabulous. Mama Mia is first rate. They have been bringing groups on board that are tribute bands of Journey and Aerosmith etc. They are all excellent. They play in the Music Hall.

The food was first rate. The Grande requires men to wear a jacket at dinner. The Icon is more like the traditional cruise ship fare. Silk was excellent Asian food. The Windjammer had very good food. There is a Pub on the Promenade that we did not get to try but it looked busy. I have been told the Anthem will be almost identical.

Service was excellent in all of the restaurants. The guest services desk was on top of taking care of problems right away. They would have agents walk out to the line and try to take care of problems there.

The cabin had 2 bathrooms !!! It was so spacious. It had tons of closet space.

Port Reviews

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

There was a longshoreman strike the day we were boarding, 80 dock workers called in sick. The ship left 1 1/2 hours late because of the strike. You would think the workers would be glad to have jobs.
