Just finished a superb cruise aboard Oceana and was once again delighted with all round standard. Cruised on Ventura last year on same itinery but must state that the food on board Oceans was much much better. Nothing wrong with Ventura's but Oceana provided an excellent choice of menus and standard. Beautiful public areas although cabins starting to show age. We had cabin C406 mid ships and was very clean. Balcony was smaller than Ventura's and was in need of lick of paint. Entertainment was excellent with the Tenor Boys who we saw twice and julian Smith the alto sax player who came third on Britain's got talent. Headliners quite good as well long with female vocalist Giselle Summers . this provided good variety in both ships theatres which were very comfortable. Itinery was fabulous as we had a full day in Venice before a 10 pm sailing. Kotor beautiful despite rain. Corfu as beautiful and friendly as ever . Trip to Rome canceled as we were unable to dock due to high winds. Disappointing as our first time cruising companions were looking forward to Rome. Monte Carlo is Monte Carlo. Fab. All in all a great trip with boarding and embarking very efficient. Staff friendly and helpful and table staff excellent. All In all brilliant cruise and thanks to P&O once again.

Clean but now needing upgrade. Bear in mind ship is 15 years old.

Port Reviews

Corfu

Friendly and charming . stayed in Corfu town for the days visit. Just wandered the streets and had light lunch and drinks. Old town worth a visit for shops etc.

Monaco (Monte Carlo)

Beautiful as ever. Took advantage of ride on bus to show friends the town first then had drinks at cafi Paris and people watched. Visited palace , casino and just took in sights.

Venice

Arrived in Venice mid morning and after checking in on board took water taxi to st marks square. Explored on foot and returned via Grande Canal.fabulous.
