We drove from the Tampa Bay area the day before the cruise as we always do.
Great stay at Hilton Garden Inn in Dania beach. Great property, pool area, room and complemantary full breakfast. The staff was exceptional.
We took the SAS shuttle to the port of Miami, as we have done a few times before. The price is 15.00 each way. Very good service and convenient.

Miami
Overall quite convenient. The staff was great from the porters outside to the folks at the check in desk and the others along the way. 43 minutes total.
Freeport
We took a shared taxi van to the Grand Lucayan at 5.00 each way. Went into the resort for 16.00 which included use of the pool and loungers on the beach.
Nassau
Not my favorite port by any means. If I travel through Nassau again, I will most likely stay on the ship. Hectic and quite crowded. Nothing I need to go back there for.
Great Stirrup Cay
Great Stirrup Cay would most likely have gotten an excellent from me from all that I have read about it. With the weather conditions we could not port there, so I rated it as average, only because there was not an NA option. I did see it though from the ship.
