I have cruised Royal Caribbean many times but the Brilliance of the Seas was a great disappointment. Either my husband or myself had to call maintenance every day because our toilet would not flush. That seems to be a basic in life and was in my opinion unsanitary - this was every day. Our cabin was very clean. They really need to inspect the public areas as there was piles of dust on the bottom of the little boats that are in the Schooner Lounge. One morning we ordered room service - did not show up. We had to remind them that we ordered coffee. We found out half way through our cruise that our waiter was new to his position. Wow! He needed help! We missed several activities because of his slowness even when we specifically told him we had plans. The food is usually pretty good but this time I would have cooked myself. During our cruise we tried several times to go to the Viking Lounge only to find it not open. Your daily Compass is a joke. Used to have bar hours but no where could we find this information. What happened to the "Drink of the Day"??? Wish it was better because we love to cruise. Customer service was lost on this cruise.
