This was our third cruise on the Pearl, and our longest cruise, so far! We loved it! Met some very friendly people, both in CC, and aboard ship. The itinerary was great, since we visited five different islands.
We opted for the onboard credit instead of the food or drink packages, and that was fine with us! The regular restaurants have improved their menus, and as Platinum members, we ate at Le Bistro, and La Cocina on two evenings. Again, we enjoyed the food, and the servers were all very gracious. When it became necessary to follow strict measures due to the health issues, our servers were very helpful and accommodating.
We visited the beach at Aruba, and took a bus to gain access at Amsterdam Inn. At Cuacao, we took a tour from the port, which we had not booked ahead. The guide was very helpful, and we enjoyed the air conditioned bus ride. We got off in town, and took the ferry back across. It was a lovely day.
Cabin was just an oceanview cabin, but it served the purpose. Cabin was kept very clean, and we had a nice view as we travelled.
Enjoyed our extended stay there, in South Beach. Lots to do and see there. Lincoln Road is fun to see. Enjoyed visiting Peter Lik's gallery. Nexxt is a great place to eat, as well as Pizza Rustica, and the Yard House.
Booked the Land and Sea Tour with Spencer. It was very memorable. Saw Volcano, beach, and beautiful sites on this lovely island. Stopped for delicious lunch, and had an altogether enjoyable day.
Plenty to do at St Thomas. We've been there several times before, so did not go shopping again. Opted for the beach, which was beautiful, but very crowded.
Booked at tour at the port, aboard an air conditioned bus. It was a fun tour, and we stopped to see views, and sample local liquor. Toured through the own, and took a ferry back to the port.
Visited Eagle Beach by bus, with access at Amsterdam Inn. Very scenic tour, seeing lovely homes and scenery. We had stayed at a hotel in Aruba several years ago. There have been some changes since that time.
