After years of turning down cruise options for a vacation my husband and me finally gave in and went on this one, we had a wonderful time, weather was great, and we just can't say enough about the staff. Every one of them was outstanding, Ports of Roatan, Belize City and Cozumel were very good; we did RCL excursions and no problems had. We arrived early at port because it was our first time; the check-in process took about 1 hr. We saw some people carrying their entire luggage. We dropped our carry on in our rooms since they were ready as soon as we boarded. We went up to the Windjammer to eat. There was a pretty big selection of food including ethnic food.

We went to explore the ship and then put on our bathing suits and headed for the Jacuzzi. There are several Jacuzzis on board. The best ones are by the Solarium; if they are full the one inside the gym is good. Watching the sunsets in the Cosmopolitan Club on the 14th deck was a special great. We signed up for My Time Dining, which worked out perfectly for us. The food was great most nights, but we were really impressed with the excellent service from our wait staff. They really deserved the extra gratuity on the last night. All areas were clean and well maintained. I enjoyed the shops, attending the shows, playing mini golf, and relaxing at the pool and on our balcony. I loved my morning coffee on the balcony. Our room 9376 was at the back of the ship on deck 9 and was just right since we were first timers. We only heard noise a couple times being at the back.

Navigator is large but easy to, no pun intended, but navigate, we enjoyed the Mexican restaurant, Sabor. The menu at Chops Grille was great also. The bars and cafe, which serves coffee, ice cream, pastries and pizza was open 24/7. The Promenade where the captain hosts the welcome-aboard reception is beautiful, there is so much to do on Navigator, and we were never bored. The ship has a friendly vibe. Many passengers hail from Texas &/or Oklahoma and most are warm, hospitable, so you'll be greeted with plenty of smiles and enjoyable table-mates for dinner. Country music is on the sound systems, and some of the on-board musical entertainers also specialize in country music. The bars and dance club were bustling, our favorite was the piano bar, but not too crowded, on most nights during our sailing. The ship is beautiful, and fun.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Because this was my first cruise, I can not compare it with other cruise lines but the check in process was quick, fast and as soon as we arrived in our room we were greeted with incredible views from our balcony. The size of the room was more than adequate as we booked (D1) Superior balcony room on the 9th deck. A balcony room is a must for us and my morning coffee. The overall room had good size and plenty of storage space. Balcony was fine for 2 adults to sit relax, eat or enjoy the sceenry. It was quite, clean and comfortable. We had a couch and our bed was near the window. Our only complaint was our bed was very hard and we are not used to a hard bed.
