We did one month section of a three month cruise commencing in Sydney. This cruise was more suited to 75+ age group therefore as a very young at heart 60s couple we found it a bit dull compared to previous cruises with P&O. Unfortunately there were several deaths during our cruise.

The entertainment was not to our taste and the resident cunard singers and dancers were dire.

The kings court buffet scrum was best avoided and passengers 'grazing' from buffet stations was particularly distasteful. Found the constant touting by photographers very intrusive they looked insulted if you refused.

Cabin Review

Standard Inside

Cabin IB

Midships cabin very quiet clean and stable. Bed and pillows superb. Shower fine but hated the curtain that seemed intent to cling to me at every opportunity. Towels were fine, liked the robe and slippers. Plenty of storage had to ask for more hangers. Wardrobe must have been designed by a man as no section tall enough to accommodate long evening gowns.

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

Stayed in Sydney hotel 2 nights pre-cruise.

Fabulous city lots to do and see. People very

friendly, easy to get around by foot or public transport. Excellent bars and restaurants.
