Embarkment: This was absolutely the EASIEST embarkment ever, and this was cruise 16 for our family of 3. While our official check-in time at port was 1:00 pm; we arrived at port early (noon) and was on the ship by 12:15 pm. Rooms were ready promptly at 1pm, and drinks and food were flowing. Because of the late departure the muster drill did not take place until 7:30 pm which was a bit unconventional and because of early availability of drinks... quite fun!

Day 1: St Croix: We went to SandCastle Resort for a beach day. 3 chairs and an umbrella for $20.00 including 2 cocktails. Quite a bit crowded, as many people merely walked there (a bit more than 1/2 mile one way), but the weather was gorgeous. Some areas of the beach were very rocky, and some steep drops when you enter the water, but mostly calm for the little ones. I did not find the shopping very interesting. NOTE: You are not able to take Conch shells, which were in abundance back onto the ship.

We did not get off on either St. Marteen or Martinque as we had been there before.

Cabin Review

Grand Suite

Cabin GS

We choose this cabin in advance for the Aft location . Had a few magnetic bar working issues on our cabin door a few times ! Which is a long walk to the service desk ! Yet the all around cabin selection ~ Well { 1600 } would be our choice every-time ! unless they where to upgrade us to the Royal Suite ~ lol

Port Reviews

San Juan

We came in the day early an just stayed at the Condado Plaza Hilton ~ Beach side . Found out quickly it was easier to walk out the main entrance to the left an down the street about a 5 ~ 10 minute walk to the Spirit store ! { just a suggestion }

St. Maarten

Ship Day ~ No lines / no wait for elevators ! port discounts whether you get off the ship or you choose to stay onboard . Hot Tubs / plenty of seating ~ an the more that get off for excursions / just mens more of the ship you have all the your self ! ~ Just Saying .

Martinique

Another low key ship day ! like We said before ~ having the ship t our selves as everyone else gets off is really nice and relaxing ! ~ Elevator races ! / Ice cream for breakfast / scavenger hunt an just a free ship day !
