The ship is HUGE. And beautiful. But the pool area is very small for the number of people the ship holds. It was very hard to hear the cruise director on the speakers when in our room. We were told we have to open our door and listen in the hallway. The toilet didn't flush for a few hours the first day. We were told someone in another room stuffed a towel down the toilet and clogged the system. The entertainment- most cruise ships offer a different show in the theater each night. The only option here is Legally Blonde. Great play, but should have had more variety. The comedy club, and grammy club had the same acts all the time. Again, need more variety. Groove Inernational was fantastic. Went to see them every night they played in the atrium. Chris Wade, was so-so. His Broadway show tunes segment was good, but the others we were not impressed with.

Went to the show at the Illusionariam..the dinner was good, the show was okay..not sure that I would spend the money again to see it. Save your money on the excursions. We went on our own in St. Maarten. We met a group of 5 people who were looking at the board listing tours right when you get off the ship. We got a 4 hour island tour including beach time and shopping that was fantastic and only cost us $30 each. In St. Thomas, we did book the Jeep tour from the ship and that was excellent too. In Nassau we again went on our own and booked a tour with a guide off the ship and paid $25.00.

The spa package at $199 for the week is awesome! We used it every day. It was so relaxing - saunas, salt room, steam room, hot tub, thermal pool. They only sell a certain number of these but it is a must do!! We didn't do anything like it on other cruises and now would not take a cruise without getting it. Fitness area is nice. Two large rooms. Lots of machines. Be careful if you sign up for any treatments..they will try to push their outrageously priced products. We did the body analysis and basically paid $149 for someone to tell us we are unhealthy and that we needed to buy their detox products. Told my husband what he needed would be $600 and what I needed would be $2,000! Crazy. Gyms in our area offer the same test for $30. And when we spoke with one of the fitness directors, she told us we would be discussing nutrition, caloric intake, etc. Well, none of that was discussed and is not discussed unless you take it further and purchase the detox treatments. After that they discuss a nutrition plan with you and formulate an exercise program for you. It was a ripoff. Also, they automatically charge 18% gratuity on all services which is not right. We should be able to decide if we want to tip or not based on the service we received. We would not have tipped after this analysis.

Cabin Review

Nice size. We originally booked a mid ship inside cabin. Got a great deal to upgrade to a balcony. Ended up being upgraded again to a Family size balcony mid ship room. Room was adequate size. Nice size bathroom. Sofa, fold down bed, and a nice vanity area. Room Steward was excellent and we tipped him extra when we left.
