We had looked forward to this for some time as we had to cancel our previous booking at the last minute due to work demands. Our first cruise was with Royal Caribbean and we loved it. We had heard Princess was an upgrade from Royal and based on their sexy Destinations DVD's we thought this was gonna be awesome.

Had this been our first cruise we may have been impressed, but this ship pales in comparison to the Royal ships. The overall interior design is 90's Vegas at best and very tired. Public spaces are very plain, specially the Main dining areas which felt like a 70's country club. Hard to believe the ship was built after 2000!

Since my only other experience cruising was with Royal, and we had such a great cruise I'll be comparing the two ad nauseam... my apologies in advance.

Cabin Review

Cabin AB

We had a mini-suite which was pretty good sized. Mattress was very poor but Princess will be replacing all of them in January at the shipyard. Interior design was very dated and needs a refresh!
