Never having cruised with p and o before, we were very pleased with the cruise. The cabin,balcony, was lovely,the entertainment was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. Having booked at the last minute, it was extremely good value. The only criticisms of Ventura in our opinion are that the library which we always use on cruises had a limited supply of books and the shelves were only a third full after a few days, the buffet was very cramped with not enough room for people to get round and our third complaint was that Havana lounge was far too small when an act was performing in an evening with many people having to stand. We have always cruised with princess before and have used the buffet there quite a lot, but on Ventura we only went twice and gave up as it was not a pleasant experience. However these are minor annoyances which did not spoil an otherwise perfect cruise, and we would certainly choose Ventura again when the next last minute deal comes up.
