A little back ground information, we are both in our early 40's and this was my second NCL cruise (4th cruise total) and my DH's fifth cruise with NCL. We stayed at the National Hotel in South Beach, Florida. The hotel was outstanding and the customer service and the food was the best we have experienced.

Embarkation: We arrived at the port around 11:00 a.m. and were processed within 5 minutes. We were on the ship drinking champagne by 11:30 a.m.

We walked around the ship for awhile taking pictures and trying to get acclimated to the layout. We then headed to Cagney's to eat lunch. I took the advice of other Cruise Critic posters and tried the chilled banana soup; it was great. We signed up for the Spa Pass and then waited for them to let us know that our rooms were ready.
