Marco Polo Cruise Review by jbooth
- Sail Date: April 2015
- Destination: Europe
Cabin was a good size with plenty of storage. The steward was very friendly, efficient and pleasant.
Activities were varied (although some of the answers to the quizzes were questionable in their accuracy). Talks were good, cocktail tasting was great.
Excursions were plentiful and ticked all the scenery boxes.
Dining was good. Food was of a high standard and served with a smile.
Entertainment was extremely good. Especially the dancers!!!
If there were any criticisms it would be that the outside windows could be cleaner (and the overpainting/putty on the glass could do with cleaning off) and wifi more widely available.

The Keukenhof GardensThe Keukenhof Gardens are only open for a few weeks per year. Everything was in full bloom and looked wonderful. We will certainly return. You can also purchase bulbs and flowers (which can be mailed)View All 77 The Keukenhof Gardens Reviews
City TourThis was actually a visit to Grieg's house with a city tour at the end. We had several hours of free time which was used to take the funicular to the top of the mountain and to have some retail therapy!View All 109 City Tour Reviews
Flam RailwayThis tour certainly ticked all the scenery boxes. The Flam railway was lovely and we were able to see plenty of sights. Lunch was included but as it was a buffet, wasn't very appetising.View All 187 Flam Railway Reviews
London (Greenwich, Tower Bridge, Tilbury)It's a Cruise terminal. Check in was very quick. Probably the fastest cruise check in ever. Parking for the car was indoors so very secure. Tilbury is very convenient as it is only 40 minutes from home!View All 53 London (Greenwich, Tower Bridge, Tilbury) Cruise Port Reviews
