Sail Date: Apr 2015
Cabin: Grand Suite

We decided to splurge. We booked GS 8508. This was a great choice. Other passengers complained that their suites were under Windjammer, pool or ping pong tables and it was noisy. GS 8508 is in a good spot. we heard very little from the deck above. We slept well. The balcony was large with a table and chairs and two lounge chairs. The bathroom was large with double sinks and a full size tub. There was a sectional couch, ottoman and chair. we had a small party the second day and had plenty of room for guests. The suite had 3 closets and lots of drawers. If we cruise on Grandeur again, we will book this same room.

We reserved a cabana on Cococay. You can not take it with you, so I recommend a private cabana. There was a fruit plate and bottle of champagne waiting for us. I do not think the specialty restaurants are worth it I felt we got good food in the dinning room so why bother paying more.

Port Reviews

Nassau

We walked around town. the previous year we took a walking excursion around Atlantis. Atlantis is beautiful and must see. Do not go unless you can walk a lot.

Baltimore

getting into the port to board the ship was easy. After parking we were on the ship in less than 1 hour. It was foggy as we left port. Made the bridge look spooky
