The Imagination is an older ship, built in 1995. It was renovated about 2 years ago. For what ever reason, throughout the ship but especially in the hallways there was a sewer odor that was horrible. Thank God it didn't linger into the dinning room area.

The dinning room had a flat ceiling and felt a little cramped. We are used to 2 and 3 floors on other cruise lines with an open ceiling in the middle.

The food was about what you would get if you went to a neighbors house. Nothing really special about it. What disappointed us, and what was really surprising is that in the main dinning room you have to pay an extra $20 if you want Surf and Turf, a good steak or anything else of that nature. The regular food they served was just so-so. About what you could get at a Golden Coral.

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin 4D

The cabin was about the same as all other cruises we've been on except that they provided much more closet space and bigger shower with a curtain.

Port Reviews

Los Angeles

Very organized and efficient. They've done this before. The big dome they use could use some exterior cleaning. Seemed like a lot of wasted space inside.
