This is my 4th cruise (3rd on Carnival first on the Conquest). It was the most disappointed I have been with service on board. I am a deep sleeper so I loved our cabin. We were in cabin 1202 which is an inside cabin. This cabin is huge! It was almost double the size of the cabins across the hall. The biggest downfall is that we were right at the anchor. I didn't hear it but my sister did. I do think there was something wrong at the beginning of the cruise because there was extra banging the first 2 nights but after Jamaica it was gone. We purchased the Cheers program but the bar service was TERRIBLE. We spent a lot of time on Deck 10 in the smoking section. We met a lot of great people and had a lot of fun with them. We would all meet up daily and visit. The seating section up there was nice. We had several comfy couches and chairs. I was very disappointed that it took 3 days before we had a server who would come up regularly for drink orders. When we went to the bar to order a drink it was taking on average 15 minutes to get a drink. I think as soon as the bartender saw the CHEERS sticker on our card they would help everyone around us first because the gratuity is paid on the package and not per drink ordered. Little did they realize that if they had helped us in a timely manner they would have had an extra tip. When we finally got a regular server on Deck 10 he made very good money off of our group.

Our head waiter at dinner was not very engaging. He would drop off our menu and give us dining suggestions and we wouldn't see him for the rest of the night. Our assistant waiters were nice but very quiet. This is the first cruise where we skipped 2 nights at the main dining room, once for the buffet and the other was to eat at Guys Burger Joint. The food was very good. I wish they had biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Embarkation was a very long process. They did not start boarding the ship until around 1:00 and that was with the Faster to the Fun. Apparently there was an inspection that was taking longer than usual. Debarkation was smooth however there were only 2 customs agents there and that added a lot of extra time waiting in line after collecting our luggage.

The comedian was very fun in both the PG show and the Adult show. There are a few large sections of pixels out on the Big screen which was distracting while watching the movies. We had a snorkeling excursion booked in Cozumel that the discontinued after we had paid for it. They switched us to a different excursion without telling us. I would have like to option to cancel or change our own excursion. There were added activities in the one we originally booked and we were looking forward to them. If we had known we would have snorkeled in Grand Cayman instead. We booked a private excursion in Jamaica with Courtney Taylor Tours and it was incredible. That was the best time we had the whole trip. I very highly recommend them if you go to Jamaica. We are a trivia loving family and they did not have nearly as much this cruise as they have on my previous cruises so that was disappointing. If it hadn't been for the friends we made on the ship I would have probably been disappointed in this trip.

If you are a deep sleeper then I highly recommend this Cabin. The amount of space was incredible.
