From reading other reviews on here which are generally fairly negative. We enjoyed the Pacific Pearl. Yes its an older dated boat but we knew that before we hopped on and for the money we certainly weren't expecting the Legend of the Seas.

We found the rooms, service, food, entertainment and activities just fine, nothing overly spectacular but meeting our needs. Our two kids thoroughly enjoyed the Kids Club & the minders were very good. We met some great people, did some activities that we have never done before like origami & beadmaking, saw some good shows and enjoyed the cocktails.

Just like any other holiday you need to watch and keep track of what you spend so you don't get a surprise at the end. We found the 'cashless' swipe card system brilliant. Bar prices were normal.
