I have actually taken this exact cruise twice now! I love the Carnival Pride. This was the first time we took our kids with us though so we were a little apprehensive. There was no need to be. It was fantastic. Better then the last time if that's possible. There was so much to see and do. Kids got to go to Camp Carnival. They had a Suess at Sea parade. And Cat in the Hat story time. They had Hasbro the Gameshow! Just so much for the kids to see and do. They gave us a pager for my 5 year old, so we could leave him at Camp Carnival and go to the Casino or other more Adult entertainments and they could still get hold of us. Our room Steward was GREAT (NaumNaum) She always remembered our names and made the cutest towel animals. The excursions were fantastic. There is so much more I could say and comment on. My ONLY complaint if I had to make one would be the other guests. So people act so entitled. I caught kids wondering the halls alone with markers drawing on the walls. And guest would complain about thing like the weather and say they were gonna give a bad review. Like Carnival can change that! But the staff, the food, the ship, the ports, ALL GREAT! Would definitely go again and again. 5 STARS!
Baltimore is a nice port to board the ship. Customs is never that crowded, and if you show up between 2 and 3 EST you can avoid any lines and just hope right on the ship!
