We have been on several Princess Cruises and this may have been our last. We booked a cabin next to some friends so that we could share our balcony. The balcony was SO small, when the dividing door was open our cabin door access was cut by a half. Literally we were shimmy-ing out of a 18" door! We were unable to place our chairs facing the ocean, AND put our legs out straight! There were up charges for so many things, including afternoon tea. Going to the Concierge desk we found there was a "special" line for Elite and Suite passengers, the rest of you are not so important, so go to the other line. There were many more dining choices IF you were willing to pay more. The soda+ card did not include bottled water, or any diet drink, except Coke. (because that only came in cans and the Soda package only applied to fountain soda). The Baristas at the specialty coffee bar did not seem capable of making a dry cappuccino. If I wanted a Latte, I would have asked for one! Thankfully we were able to use our unused "coffee punches" for gelatos. The Horizon Court was a maze and confusing. The theater was small but the quality of the specialty performers was good, the cast were so-so. The layout of the ship was confusing, accessing the Allegro dining room was a trick in itself, since you couldn't walk through from the Piazza. Fellow passengers were still lost after 10 days! Spending time by the pool was spoiled by the high volume of the movie. If passengers want to watch a movie during the day while others are enjoying the pool and deck, then maybe they should be provided with earbuds.
Embarkation was very efficient. Our dining room staff were excellent. The cabin was clean, although small.
