Where to start with this review. There were some things that were very wrong, but always like to start on a positive note. Please bear with me, this review could be quite long and comprehensive.

CHECK IN

As usual on a cruise, this was painless, surprising really as Santos is pretty chaotic, and there were 3 cruises checking in at the same time. As previous travellers with Royal Caribbean we had priority check in. The friends we were travelling with did not. However when our friend, who is Brazilian, asked if they could check in with us as we had not cruised from Brazil before, and did not speak Portugese , there was no problem at all and we were on board and in the buffet eating and drinking just over an hour later. Full marks for this. Disembarkation also was quick and efficient, Santos again totally chaotic but that is not the fault of the cruise line.

Cabin Review

The cabin was much like cabins on most cruise lines. Big enough, enough space for hanging clothes, although less drawer space than some. spotlessly clean as usual. small bathroom with a curtain to the shower as space too small for a door. small shower cubicle. No fridge. Hair drier available.
