Expected Better from Carnival . I have been on Princess Cruises several times before AAA++ and wanted to try a different cruise line. Had a Group of 18 . Where to start , Boarding Ok except for the Wine being taken off us on embarkation no big deal but still on Princess you can bring one bottle per person. Buffett layout is horrible compared to other ships and food in buffett is average. Pizza open 24 hours and very good . Dining room food is also average compared to Princess cruises but you can order as many dishes as you like . Getting of as Tasmania is one off the worst no the WORST dissembarkation day trip i have ever experienced. Took over one hour to get off ship all people come from all corriddors then merging to single line. Cannot fault entertainment on ship was great from live shows to live bands EXCELLENT. Free Coffee from coffee machines was like tar horrible the one you purchased from coffee bar was OK. Service from bar staff was very slow , looks like they did not have enough crew on board maybe only half. Would not go on another Carnival cruise again . If you have young children then this is the cruise for you alot of thing to keep them occupied just dont let them have free reign on there cruisecard in Arcade. Want to watch any movies in your cabin be prepared to pay $10.00 per movie on princess cruises they are free. People might think im fussy or this is a harsh review but after cruising on Several Different princess cruise ships i am comparing them to the experiece i had on those ships . People better pay a little bit more well worth it . If you have never cruised before you will like this cruise as you have nothing to compare it too.
