My husband and I chose the Canary Island Cruise because I wanted to visit Casablanca and I'm so pleased we did.
We were made to feel very welcome by the Checking in staff even before we had got on board. Our luggage was taken off us and delivered to our 'Stateroom'. We had opted for an inside cabin as we didn't plan on spending much time in it except to sleep. It was checked twice daily. No tea making facilities but we could get tea/coffee at any time of the day 24/7.
There was a wide range of 'complimentary' dining and we didn't feel we needed the 'ultimate dining or drinks package although we would have been better off with the 'Wine' one as a bottle lasted us for 2 evenings. For breakfast and lunch we chose the Buffet and on entering the dining area our hands were sprayed by the 'washy,washy-happy, happy' staff. Every morning 2 waiters came round with the 'Chefs Suprise'.
We had a double bed and so the sides were a bit narrow. We would probably have had more room if they had left it as twin beds. The tv channels were good and we could keep up with BBC World news plus several new release films on the english Movie Channel.
The Steward looked after us well and made very clever Towel Animals. Look out for the 'Bat'
