I'm 49 years old and I'd never been on a cruise until I went on the Norwegian Sun cruise to the eastern Caribbean. The entire process from getting to the dock to boarding the ship to getting to our destinations was fantastic. Our cabin steward, Doc, was great. He made sure that we had everything we needed and our cabin was made up daily. The on-board entertainment was a lot of fun. The cruise director, Richard, seemed to really enjoy his job and did his best to make everyone feel welcome and involved. There was never a lack of food on board either. From the specialty restaurants to the food buffet, everything was plentiful and very good. There were staff members at every entrance with a bottle of hand sanitizer. I was very confident that we had no worries about sickness on this ship.

We traveled with some friends, so we didn't use the cruise excursions, but the embarkation and disembarkation process ran flawlessly. Music and smiling staff greeted us as we got off the ship, and then again getting back on. What a great time had by all of my family. We will definitely be cruising again with Norwegian.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Inside

Cabin IA

Cabin was spacious and had plenty of room to store our clothes. Having an in-room safe is an excellent idea and made us very comfortable. If there was anything negative, it would be that there really was not enough plugs for all of our stuff (or at least not in the appropriate location). Very clean and well-kept. We didn't have any issue with any aspect of the cabin.
