We just returned from a cruise on the MSC Divina. As we were disembarking on the last day of the trip, it seemed to us that every comment we heard echoed our own feelings of the cruise we had just experienced. We have been on a number of cruises with different companies and will never again travel on MSC. Here are the reasons for our decision:

On the positive side of the experience, the ship is beautiful and it is kept very clean. The cabins were very nice and roomy. The evening shows were presented in a beautiful theater and each show was excellent and as good as anything we've seen outside of Vegas.

The negative side of the experience out weighed the positive by far. To start with, from the minute we walked onto the ship we felt like we were constantly being sold things. I realize this is common on cruise ships but this seemed even worse than normal to us. Not only do they have shops but they have tables set up everywhere selling watches, jewelry, etc. There is one little ice cream machine that only operates for a few hours a day but then you can purchase gelato any time you want it. The list of things for sale seems to be non-ending.

Cabin Review

Cabin 12

The cabin was very nice and roomy. We had no problems with our cabin or it's care during our trip.

Port Reviews

Miami

I didn't consider this a port because this is where our cruise started and ended. We live in Florida and have been to Miami many times. It's like many large cities in the US only tropical.
