Booked the EPIC to experience her again before she heads to Europe (was previously on her Oct 2010 when she was new). I read all the negative reviews and decided that vacation is what you make it and we were going to enjoy ourselves.

I am Platinum with 16 cruises on NCL. (Many other cruise lines too) and was expecting a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, most of the negative reviews were accurate. Without being able to book shows or dinner reservations prior to boarding, the lines were awful! iConcierge was not working, the TV booking was not working and many of the kiosks throughout the ship were not working. All this meant we had to stand in line with the box office. Standing in line with with hundreds of upset people was not pleasant.

Being Platinum, a person should receive a packet with discount offerings and items delivered to you room. None of this happened and I had to go to the service desk twice. I always like doing the behind the scenes tour and we missed it since we had no details. The ship was filthy, NEVER saw anyone cleaning anywhere. Carpet ripped in many spots (saw someone trip), ceilings with water stains in different spots, etc... I could go on and on regarding all that was a disappointment but I think you get the idea.
