Sail Date: Apr 2015
Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony

From the ease of the check-in process to disembarking today, all went smoothly and with efficiency. I booked this cruise March 2014 and the sail became our second cruise; our first on Norwegian for us and veteran floating friends sailing with us - so we had no latitude perks to begin this voyage. The officers and crew were wonderful, visible -very approachable and always asking if everything was going well. The entertainment was spectacular and the food extraordinary.

Dining: We elected the Ultimate Dining package and made reservations prior to sailing. After learning the show times, we made a couple of time adjustments with no problem. One morning we had breakfast in Tsar's for the experience. Our frequent cruise friends said we would have to wait in lines - maybe on the cruise line they most often frequent. We had no wait and received exceptional service - in all of the venues. Two days (at least) grills were on the pool deck and beef and chicken grilled and served - scrumptious. Ice cream REAL ice cream everyday!

Shore Excusion: We have taken excursions through resorts and other vacation destinations. The Chankanaab Shore & Snorkel Cozumel was the BEST we have ever experienced. At the opposite end of the spectrum, Best of Roatan is a misleading title so read the fine print-this is a cultural experience and 14 people in a 9 passenger van is no fun.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

Having read a cabin review of the cabin we had first selected, I called NCL and requested a change - same deck and category - and NCL was accommodating. Our cabin was smaller than anticipated, having been in a Junior Suite on the other cruise and I seriously would not have been comfortable with 4 persons. But for me and my spouse - we were comfortable and without our puppy, the bed was roomy and very comfortable. Our cabin steward was always helpful and kept our room sparkling clean.
