Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

It is now one week since we disembarked the Quantum of the Seas. Our cruise mates, my wife and I have sailed on about 40 cruises, most of them together. We've been on Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Princess, NCL, Viking and Avalon. I have reviewed many different places we visit and try to be fair, objective and understanding.

Quantum of the Seas is certainly bold, innovative, and daring.

We liked the ship decor.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Sleeping Cabins are spacious with excellent storage. Having separate closets separate from each other means we could both get dressed at the same time without interference. Drawer and storage space is ample. Floor space is very spacious.

A night light in the bathroom is an added convenience. The cabin bathroom is standard and adequate. A quibble would be that the sink is too shallow. In the cabin the nightstands next to the bed are too small, each less that six inches wide. A magazine does not fit flat. When the drapes are drawn at night getting out of bed requires sliding sideways to get out. But, still, we loved the cabin and its location near the elevators and there was no corridor noise to bother us.
