Don't go unless you're a senior! This is not a cruise ship for a younger crowd and families. The ship itself was lovely enough with all standard cruise ship stuff. The entertainment was all aimed at the golden oldies crowd, only 2 shows out of 12 we liked. Fine dining restaurant we didn't enjoy, quality and service lacking. Creperie was nice for $7 a couple of nights. The buffet was almost always the same so you get sick of it and I didn't find much I liked. Was good when they had occasional roast pork or a chocolate fountain, but the chocolate quality was poor. Only twice we got milk chocolates on our pillows at night, the rest of the time was dark (which we don't like) or an Oreo that they destroy by dunking in terrible tasting chocolate. We had a great time relaxing poolside all day as there wasn't much to do. Child enjoyed kids club but we've seen much better.

If you're aged 20-50 and/or a family, stick with Royal Caribbean for way better entertainment and fun stuff to do! Disney cruise line is even better if you're cruising from USA.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2B

Cabin 2B

Standard balcony cabin. Main bed not very comfortable. Child sleeps on hard sofa with sheets. Asked for the Pullman and told it's dangerous. Got them to pull the mattress down to put on sofa which was better. TV has terrible quality screen. Bathroom was modern but small.

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

We live here! Views of our stunning Harbour Bridge and Opera house from the port. Major industrial city in a first world country! Best port of them all!

Noumea

Wisely we didn't get off the ship! Have been there before. It's a dirty third world country city. We were happy to stay on-board and skip it! Don't know why they must send every South Pacific cruise to this port!

Suva

Wisely we didn't get off the ship! It's a dirty third world country city. We were happy to stay on-board and skip it! Saw it from the deck, that was good enough for us. Heard unpleasant stories of people coming back on board!

Lautoka

We had our own private tour booked from this port. We drove 1.5 hours to Outrigger on the Lagoon for a family photo shoot where we got married 10 years ago, and showed our daughter. This was the whole point of our trip! Once you're at a resort, Fiji is beautiful!

Isle of Pines (New Caledonia)

This small island is New Caledonia beautiful! No ugly city or people to harass you. Simply get off and walk to several beaches. Beautiful rock cliffs and scenery. You can snorkel if you have your own gear. Eat early lunch on the ship first, then no tender tickets and go swimming all afternoon!
